Perhaps you would like to know while browsing which links are javascript links or open a new window ...

I discovered this tip on a web site I forgot the name ..

If you don’t like links opening in a new window, perhaps like me you “drag and drop” these links to the URL bar to enforce them opening in the same window or tab.

The problem is that we don’t know which links behave like that without reading the source code, and dragging ALL links may become boring :-)

The solution, edit the file (or create it if it does not exist) :

C:\Documents and Settings\%userprofile%\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\%yourProfile%.default\chrome\userContent.css

Append these lines :

Now, instead of displaying a hand when hovering links, you get a cross for HREF links opening a new window :

and a “cross with arrows” (?) for Javascript links :
